This is one of my favorite Chamaedoreas (and that's saying something since I have about 100 favorites of this genus) for Southern Califor...Read Morenia. It has sea-green, thick, leathery partially to completely split large ovoid leaves. It is a slow grower but has a bit of sun hardiness. I have no idea how it does as an indoor palm (most Chamaedoreas do well) but I suspect this one may be needy of a LOT of light. It's a native of Guatemala and Belize.
