It is now 3 years old and is about 2 feet tall and 2+ feet wide. It blooms abundantly in spring and is just coming into bloom now in early March. Mine is in a harsh location that gets partial shade, with several hours of afternoon sun in summer. It receives water every other week from March through November and only natural precipitation in winter. This plant has survived to 24 F, but is under a large cold frame in winter. I suspect it doesn't need that protection. The fuzzy gray-green leaves and yellow stems of this plant make it a good specimen plant even after it sheds its bright yellow flowers.
Added June 5, 2016. The plant that was doing so well, succumbed to what appeared to be rot in the monsoon season of summer/fall 2015. I replaced it with another plant in February this year and so far it is doing quite well.
