The second summer...never bloomed. Not one. It grew well though. This year? Already has buds forming. I can't explain that.
I find it not very tropical...but not especially hardy either. Protect from freezing temps.

It has beautiful bright yellow flowers with black centers and an unusual fuzzy, soft green leaf. This plant is from Madagascar, and doesn't tolerate much frost. However, I haven't had any problems with it and it's gotten down below 25F briefly, so far.
