I do believe the person below is describing a different calla lily? The leaves are large/spotted/arrowhead and my blooms reached taller and/or even with the leaves.
This year I'm planted in a pot. I wanted to get a jumpstart growth and see how it does in a pot. The directions on mine said to plant 6in. deep and that it was also suited for bogs. So, I put in a tall pot without drainage, with a bit of charcoal, orchid bark and vermiculite in the bottom...topped off with regular soil and bark on the surface. We'll see what happens.
Over the winter, I stored it upright in vermiculite (as I do all my bulbs) and when it sprouted in that for a bit, I planted it in.

A 'cute' pot/border plant that benefits from neigbors to support its less-than strong leaves.
