Crocosmia 'Severn Sunrise'

I bought this with an identification of 'Severn Seas', but after seeing the pictures of each, this has to be 'Severn Sunrise', due to the...Read More beautiful variety of colors of the flowers. It is truly stunning. Here it is November 17, and it's still blooming away, although the hard frost coming this weekend might put an end to that. I've only had it this season, so I've yet to see how it overwinters. Should be all right here in zone 8a. I'll update next year.

Update, October 29, 2013: I'm not sure it likes it in my front yard. It's survived the bad weather, but has not bloomed for the last 2 years. It's a shame, because the gorgeous flowers are welcome in the fall border. Fertilizer in the spring coming.
