I like the foliage and flower color and their small size. They don't seem to have any pest or disease issues, but there is a little bit of die-back in our zone 4a winters.

'Tango' is quite hardy (zone 4) with purplish-brown foliage and an abundance of purplish-pink flowers. Plants are compact, rarely exceeding 3 feet. This cultivar is readily available in my area.
