Tree totally died back to the ground. Growing vigorously from the root. I grew it as a single trunk and removed suckers. Now I think it will be multitrunk if it survives. The only reason I gave it a negative rating was because of my disappointment at it's dieback. When it bloomed last spring it was spectacular. I will leave it for a couple of years and see what happens. If it dies back again I think I will remove it and replace with another kind of specimen tree.
I welcome any comments or feedback.
