Rich, med...Read Moreium green, broadly ovate to heart shaped leaves forming a mound 20" ht x 24"w. Leaf margins are slightly rippled. Fully double lavendar flowers atop 4' scapes in midsummer. An established clump may produce over 50 flowers per scape in late summer.

Interesting sidenote: I have 7 different hostas that I purchased for 2005 - they came late April leafed out because they'd been growing in a greenhouse, so I couldn't plant them yet in our area and instead potted them up and am bringing them inside on cold days/nights.
Out of the 7 hostas, my cats have zeroed in on the fujibotan and have nibbled down the leaves and even pulled it out of it's pot twice - so it's been moved to a higher place where they can't get to it. Can't imagine why the leaves attract them and none of the other (and larger) hostas have been touched. The cats went out of their way to find this one the second time - I had it in the back of the tray next to a wall!!!
