We were able to pick up these trunks and plant them elsewhere.
We have had no skin irritation problems and no reseeding. Does not appear to be a bird or butterfly attraction.

It is a beautiful ornamental shrub with white flowers that can grow quickly if in a sunny well drained sandy soil. It does not like fertiliser as does any other fynbos. A pleasant gardening experience.
In the Netherlands we grow this as a large indoor house plant. You think that's a special version or could I try it here in VA?
