I quite like this plant for its blue flowers. Although the flowers are small, the profusion of blooms is worth growing this. The plant will spread out over time covering an area about 4 feet wide. Maybe further in time? I made the mistake of planting mine where a fir tree competes for moisture so I need to water regularly. Normally, one wouldn't have to once established.
I layered mine last fall for increase & plan to plant them where they won't have to compete for moisture & will receive more sun. I've seen other lithodoras still blooming off & on, though not with the full flush of spring. right into late fall days. I'm hoping mine will too in their new surroundings.
