It looks very dry & untidy if you don’t stay on top of it and pinch it back, but it takes a few weeks before it blooms again. It came back reliably for a long time until my husband hired landscapers to do a fall clean up & they ripped everything out if my flower beds so they didn’t get to reseed & they put 6” of mulch on top. Was never invasive or sloppily floppy like some nepetas.
