The twining ends are a beautiful addition to floral arrangements.
Caveat: when cut, ends ooze a sticky white sap. Good idea to hold them away from you to let them drip.

Beaumontia grandiflora grows in the Grotto of Mackay Gardens and Lakeside Preserve in Lake Alfred, Florida which is free and open to the public.

B. grandiflora is from northern India- blooming once a year after a sustained period of cool winter months. It does not blooom in heat,.Its flowers are long and tubular or trumpet shaped
B. murtonii is endemic to the low lands of Thailand and is a repeat bloomer with very flat held wide-opened flowers that do not come in a trumpet shape..
If you are looking for a heat loving repeat bloomer then Grandiflora Murtonii would be the choice.

This plant grows year round outdoors in San Francisco. It's a fairly large woody vine, requiring a lot of space (at least in our tiny SF ...Read Moreyards). The foliage is very attractive, and well, no more needs to be said about he amazing flowers. Well worth the space if you have it.
