The lilies I have grown from seed are exactly like the mother plant. The roots grow very deeply which makes it hard to move. No pests have attacked it. Late July monsoon rain brings first shedding, some two three hundred stalks sprout, and bloom in 3 nights, the bulb multiplies in many baby bulbs so in february its good for them to take them out from the soil and replant them, so to scatter them and detach small bulbs from the parent one, clipping their leaves makes them healthy and so makes the flower bigger and healthier.

There is an amazing season related phenomenon, a very beautiful white spider with pink tiger like stripes developes in them, as the flower bed blooms, I have awaited it this season but could not snap it, lets hope the coming season i might snap it and upload the image.

The spider is very shy, about half an inch in size. Makes small cobwebs amongst the flowers, it lives in the flower bell, also if we cut the flowers and put them in water vase, they stay fresh for a week, filling the indoors with a very light sweet fragrance.

It grows easily and is beautiful in my north MS garden.
