I love to cook them with Louisiana purple hulls, brown crowders, speckled butterbeans, and christmas lima's all together with smoked turkey necks. That's the best bean dish in the world!
Anyway, they take dry conditions very well, and love to be foliar fed with liquid seaweed and fish emulsion as soon as they emerge from the soil, and every 7 days if you can find the time.
