It is somewhat prone to disease. Snaps are slighly longer and much more stringy than the Mountain Half Runner but the resemblance is sufficient to consider it a full climbing version of the Half Runner. An old fashion string bean but flavor is superb. Seed came from Haysi, Va in the late 60's.
