The easiest way to double (o...Read Morer triple) your pleasure with these is to snip the plant and stick it directly into the ground, however, if you use this method be aware that the plant will wilt and at this point needs alot of water to regenerate the roots. It can also be rooted in a glass of good old water. Snipping the plant also promotes a bushier plant.
The blooms come in the form of "spikes" and are usually purple. Snip the "spike" after the blooms die and scatter the seeds wherever you want them to grow.
Cold weather will kill the plant, however, if the plant is hardy, it will come back in the spring!! This information can be used for ALL types of coleus.
