(I had some in a 15" tub, which got handtrucked into my SE-facing living room, where the clump bloomed in December 2011 and January 2012.) In spring 2012 there were 28 in the 7 ft bed, in Oct. about 14 again, continuing into November, until the budstalks froze. But in early March 2013, about 14 stalks, bloomed and finished toward the end of the month--when more budstalks started showing up; last week--I counted 36 budstalks. They will have to be thinned at the end of the season. Nothing else of the 16 rebloomers I have produces like Ocean Pacific. (Two other especially reliable ones in my zone 9b are Earl of Essex and Summer Radiance--which also bloomed in July of its 2nd year.)
The Oc. Pac. rhizomes had come from another bed, which in its 3rd year had produced 5 bloomstalks on each of 5 clumps. The plant is vigorous! has good branching and flower form, a lovely shade of mid-blue, and is relatively disease-resistant. If this plant doesn't have any awards, it should!
