Becomes a large, dense mound of wavy, bright gold foliage to about 28" high by 70" wide. Leaves are 12" long by 7-1/4" wide; brilliant g...Read Moreold by mid-summer and especially bright in sunlight. The leaves have a thin underside bloom with an ovate blade that is cupped at the base and also has a curved tip. Distinctly wavy; slight corrugation with good substance and 14-16 vein pairs.

Flowers bloom early to late July and are pale lavendar with a lighter petal margin. Scapes up to 43" tall. Does not form many pods, however, M. Zilis in "The Hosta Handbook" says, "Though 'Sun Power' forms only an occasional seed pod, it is worth trying to hybridize with it owing to its many good qualities."

Makes a great mound of bright gold foliage, brighter with more sun/light. It does set seed but very rarely. Flower scapes are about 40" high.
