Very pleased with our Chesapeakes from http://www.heirloomtomatoe...Read Mores.net - big healthy RL plants, no problems with coastal heat, humidity or foliage disease, tolerated growing in 5 gallon containers & still managed with nice production of baseball to softball sized red-orange well-balanced but assertive globes that could rest on the counter for several days without over-softening. Very nice for tomato sandwiches as well as fresh gazpacho & canned salsa. All-round workhorse that thrived for us in challenging conditions - saved lotsa seed & will be inviting back gladly & given a prime spot to "stretch their roots" next year!
