They we...Read Morere very young and small, so I wonder if maybe they got too much water, even with the very infrequent watering that the climbing aloe has been thriving with. Alternatively, possibly not enough sun? The container is on a north-facing balcony that's also exposed east and west, so it got a few hours of direct sun, mainly late afternoon. Like someone else said here, mine also quickly developed black spots on all the leaves. But they didn't feel mushy. So I have no idea. I decided to not overwinter them and just got rid of them, as they weren't looking good. They're pretty though, so I'm willing to try again if I run across them, perhaps keeping it in a small pot of its own this time.

I've never had any Crassula do that before. Its also seemed to blanch in color. My guess is- this would do much better in ground and I would say whoever filled in "9b" for this Crassula was being generous. Anything below 32f might do it in.
It may not be a great slam dunk plant like most Crassula's..its maybe for more advanced C&S people.
