Hardy to at least 28F-with no damage,can get by on little water,never needs to be fertilized. As I understand it there is a more normal sized form of this brom and then their is the king sized brute. In one pic the leaves are close to the height of a 6' fence. Being a large brom it needs lots of sunlight,closer to the coast full sun is easy for it to handle. I've seen large old plantings used in drifts under a grove of Trachycarpus palms.Very tropical looking.
