I sp...Read Moreray with fungicide, but through experimenting I've found that it isn't really necessary here (Boston Z6a) for this rose, despite the prevalence of blackspot in my area.
This made the "Top 100 Performers" list from the NYBG's (no-fungicide) Peggy Rockefeller Rose garden.
This is sold as a groundcover rose. I don't find it to spread out much, and in any case I wouldn't use any rose as a groundcover, as weeding would be a nightmare.
I'm not sure why it's a shrub and not a miniature, as the foliage is tiny and the flowers are about 2" across.
