The leaves...Read More and everything else get wet everyday...we didn't know about the mildew factor but it doesn't seem to be a problem. The plants are in full sun during morning hours but in shade by mid afternoon.

The purple roosters have purplish leaves when young. Very nice colours!

This is supposed to be a newer cultivar, and mildew-resistent. Still, care is needed not to get the leaves wet when watering. The plan...Read Moret prefers moisture retentive soil, but can tolerate a wide range of soil conditions. I can't rate it until I've grown it longer.
