Of course I googled it, and was thrilled that it was a new Meidiland cultivar that is said to be a very profuse bloomer.
It bloomed, a lot, late last summer! It also has beautiful dark green foliage that seems very resistant to the usual rose troubles. This year it about 2x2 and is almost stupidly full of blooms. They start off a daffodil yellow and mature to a buttery cream. At any moment there are several yummy shades of yellow covering almost the entire plant. ...and this is only the second season!
I do have it in my best sunny bed, but I have other roses in the same locale and none can compare with the bloomiferous Limoncello. She is even
sweetly fragant, and I can smell her without stooping to sniff. If you are looking for garden sunshine in an easy care rose, give Limoncello a try!
Meidiland roses have never disappointed me. I have grown several. This is my hands down favorite.
