Walker and published by Royal Boantic Gardens shows distinctive reddish lineate (striations) wide triangular leaves curving inward at apex. Flowers are deep salmon-colored.
This has grown in gardens here at Bonsall CA,USA since 2007. The plant was discovered and described in Succulentes 2006 (1) 20 (2006)

This plant (A deltoideodonta ssp. fallax) is a light to bright green plant with subtle but definite striations along the length of the short, thick, triangular, fleshy, pale-green, finely toothed leaves... .just like what most think Aloe ibitiensis looks like. This is an aggressively suckering species forming huge colonies in its native Madagascar. I find it an excellent landscape and potted plant and the flowers are attractive and reliably produced in mid fall.
