The next year it bloomed in the spring but failed to rebloom after the first flush. This made me think it was a waste. In 2015 however, it bloomed really nice in the spring, took a few weeks off to recover and it has been blooming non-stop since. It's so nice to walk up to a lilac in the summer and smell a smell of spring. I'm going to give it a light hair cut in the fall since it's growing so vigorously. The plant is located in 100% full sun all day long and requires no care or extra attention.

Purchased last spring, very limited blooming last year, but put on a good spring show. Much heavier bloomer than Persian Lilac Tree. Now to see if it will rebloom in our Dallas, TX heat! FYI, I keep it well watered. Branches have attractive arching habit.
