This rose is rather new, that might be the reason that I can not find much comments here. I was in the market searching for a deeply frag...Read Morerant rose for my front garden, my requirements were as followings:
1) Very/intensive fragrant;
2） Full to very full petals count；
3) Bloom last >=7 days before fade/fall off the petal;
4） Good repeat bloomer;
5) Heat tolerant. The bloom and the rose tree itself should be able to stand >=95F summer days, in zone 9b;
6) Short to medium-tall bush type. Not overly big or tall.
After an intensive search and visited my local HD/Lowes for many time, to my surprise, I found that Rose Rock and Roll is the only rose meet my requirements above. It is strong fragrant, its bloom is long lasting (last forever type), it is very full, it is really heat tolerant, it is not too tall. Best of all, it is very pretty and unique in color.
On the down side, after a few month for having this rose, I have found that it is very vulnerable to black spot. I am in a hot and dry area, but this rose is till having very noticeable blackspot issue, I would imaging the situation will get worse in wet errors.
