I have 7 other roses doing quite beautifully in the same area. But despite all efforts to prune, fertilize and baby these guys.They both stay very leggy & look unkempt.They only bloom in sparse flushes and the blooms are very few when they do.They are however very disease resistant & the color is lovely but the sparse amount of blooms and constant effort to limp them along is frustrating.I have many many roses in my yard that are supposed to be far more fussy. But I have found them to be almost effortless to maintain compaired to this one. I will be moving these to a more secluded part of my yard and filling in their old spot with a more gratifying & continual blooming variety.

I was very excited to have this rose after seeing photos and information online. But after growing it this summer I am a bit disappointed...Read More. It has tripled in size and is a groundcover, but very little blooms and now in early July showing signs of blackspot. I have two, this one and the strawberry one, and they have both acted the same, very dense and thorny with little blooms that fall off very quickly. I am hoping they do better next summer or I am moving something else in that position.
