I ha...Read Moreve seen the branches from ground to tip over 12' long. I have mine in an open work metal rose pillar and have to work at threading the branches through to the top so that I get a spectacular waterfall effect out of the top of the pillar. The scent is a soft tea rose. I can only smell it when the flowers first open. The flowers are small, but very full soft medium pink which fades lighter as they age. New and old blooms are very attractive. Sometimes it will cover an entire weeping branch with a heavy floral display, quite beautiful. Will drop many of the old blooms cleanly but also makes some tiny hips. The tiny hips evenually drop as well but they delay the repeat bloom so I deadhead for a faster show. It seems to have 2 spectacular flush blooms at the beginning and ending of the season. Yet it will repeat bloom with a few spaced out blooms over the whole plant continually throughout the summer in between the 2 big flushes if you dead head and trim the unwildy tips and remove ugly area's. It loves new wood and will pop blooms here and there on it's new wood to reward you for your trimming. It will give you a few even without the extra trim effort, it just takes a lot longer and you get fewer extra blooms. I have had very few problems with pests and disease on her, except when the garden is totally ignored and the spider mites get out of hand. Then it will drop some leaves, & look a little spotty. Quickly drops it's ugly hurt leaves and re-leafs all clean and new. You would never know it had issues just a couple weeks ago. I suspect if it were planted away from the black spot prone spidermite infested modern roses I have, it would never have the issues it does.
