Ocimum, Basil, Sweet Basil 'Magic Mountain'

I have one that i trim into a 3 ft. ball and others that are more free form. I trim out the bottom growth to enable thyme to grow under it. Cut off any leggy stems and it happily sprouts new leaves and flowers. It is a bee magnet year round. Mine are happy in both full sun, part sun, and I also have one in mostly shade. The dense growth makes it a perfect and colorful substitute for shrubs.
A cutting stuck into a glass of water will produce roots quickly.
