Should be like most of the hybrids,H.r.s.,tender to frost. I don't see a plant that is for less then a warm 9b.

As I suspected- tender to frost. Especially in a pot. It did not start to bloom after winter until September. Yes,September.
It was a record wet and chilly winter. This is best in z10b+

Amazingly, aft...Read Moreer getting torn out of its pot and losing some of its main roots, this beauty clung to life. I was able to repot and seen growth a few weeks after. I even got blooms a couple months after the incident. It has grown taller since then, but lost a lot of its leaves during our move to our new home. Even with all of its hardships, it has a handful of leaves and a single bud getting ready to open. Quite a gorgeous sight when it blooms too. Hopefully I can get this one to finally make a bounce back and be as impressive as my other bushes.

This is the first seaso...Read Moren I have grown this Hibiscus and I am curious to find out if it will survive in the 115 degree heat we get here in the summers. The blooms are amazing in shades of yellow, pink and dark red.
