I was looking for a hardy cl...Read Moreimber and had to ...quite heartily... rip it out of the other vines on the shelf. Sat in my backyard for a week and had a 6 inch vine on the ground from one in the pot that headed south. Winters here can get in the teens so asked neighbor who works at local nursery about it's chances. He said winter should keep it from being too invasive as passion vines can be in warm climates I've found. Here's hoping. I ran my bare hands all over this thing and pulled it apart and tied it on the fence and had no ill reaction to it. Many passions I saw had 3 leaves but this has 5. Slightly glossy feel to them. Planted some Russian Sage in front of it for some color offset. Will let y'all know how it turns out.
Btw...zone 5b and days are 85F and nights are 56F this time of year. This thing curls back some at night but so far doesn't seem to care much once the sun comes back.
