It is a very slow...Read More grower for a Selaginella and I have not had any luck propagating it from stem cuttings, only by taking rhizome sections. It doesn't grow "aerial" roots from its stems like many other Selaginella's which aid in their propagation. It must be grown in an enclosed terrarium and kept warm. I keep mine around 80 degrees year round. Also, in order to maintain its blue coloration you can't give it too much light or it will start to take on more of a green coloration.
