But so far, mine has not flashed its true firery colour yet. The reddest leaf (as seen in this photo) is more of a shimmering plum colour, with just a hint of glow when viewed in certain light. Apparently, the leaves seem to have a firey red sheen that appears, then disappears if you move slightly. It is as though a fire is burning within the plant, a fire that you can see only if you look at the plant in just the right way."
