I bought the seeds this year and give a try. I tried two method, a winter sowing method (cold stratification) and a regular indoor fluore...Read Morescent lamp method. I had success on both case, and I would disagree with the fact that the seeds like medium low temperature to germinate, mine germinate very well even at 65 F. The seedling require quite a bit of root space to develop, forget about growing in a six pack. It thrive at 65-75 degree in a nitrogen- rich soil. Mine grown around 3 feet tall, bloom in two and half-three and half months from germination and they would need to be stalked. The color of the flower can vary I have some nerly true blue and some dark purple. The strain that I received is a single/semidouble flower. Nice the contrast with the yellow pistils in the center. Nice foliage too. They suffer a bit during transplant and take a bit of time to adapt, but when they do they grow pretty fast. Be sure to transplant when they are small enough to handle transplant but not too much to be devastated by slugs.I will definitively plant some more next year!
