For some years this plant did nothing and just sulked. But now it has taken off and is growing like mad... Climbing trees, smothering bushes. It has become a pest. I have cut it down, used glyphosphate on it, dug out roots as best I can but it is amazing... It comes back worse than ever. I dread the night when there is a tap on the bedroom window and the chocolate vine is waiting outside!
I have just tried "escort" ( this is a NZ. Brand name) that is used for killing wild ginger and gorse. I am awaiting to see if escort can kill it off.
