The original selected seedling is now 17 years old and is about 9 feet tall and about 8 feet wide. The original selected seedling is very dense and full of foliage. The foliage is retained year round. The original selected seedling has experienced temperatures below 0 degrees Fahrenheit. It has also been underwater for an extended period of time 4 times. The plant showed no damage and retained its foliage with good color. The flowers are white and it blooms periodically through the growing season. We have named this Magnolia 'Sweet Thing'.
