This was...Read More very tasty, good enough to just slice on a plate and eat, naked, with a touch of salt and pepper. Pretty, too. As someone else noted, mine were more orange than yellow. You do need to pick them when they still have green shoulders, but that's true of a lot of heirlooms.
These were also very productive, hanging in clusters of 3 to seven.
The only thing that some may not like is that they did have thick skins. I personally didn't mind that, especially this year, as they were the only tomatoes I had that didn't have serious splitting issues from our unusually wet Summer. They also lasted a couple of weeks on the counter with no loss of quality!
