Tolerates ph 7.5 to 8, and still yields.
Somewhat drought tolerant, and also somewhat flood tolerant.
Can easily get 9+ feet tall if not pruned... But I recommend pruning new canes to 3.5 or 4 feet and side canes to 15 inches or so.
Only drawback to this variety is that it is in process of becoming patented.

We planted them in April of 09 and they are already blooming and setting on berries. Don't know if this means they will bloom later here because we are further north or just because we planted them this spring. Seem to be vigorous growers (if the rabbits will stop trimming them for us). Finally completely caged them a week ago. Have great hopes for these as we have tried the thorned variety and that was awful.
