It often draped over sandstone edges or in crevices. Sometimes there would be bright red plants or blue-grey plants but they always seemed happiest growing on the sandstone rock with minimal soil. Wet cool winters didn't seem to bother them but they never took to garden culture or looked that great with moisture and good soil. I should pick up a plant for my garden but I'll be sure to plant it on a sandstone rock.
