The plant goes dormant, I cut off the dead foliage, and give it a cup of water every week or two. In the early spring I feed it with Osmocote and it starts to grow again. By the time I can put it outside again, the leaves are full and buds have formed.
This lily appears to be a dwarf Alstroemeria in the Princess series and not the kind used for cutting. This is a great plant for a pot as it only grows to about 8 inches.
