I put this plant in full sun, as instructed on the directions that came with it. Now I think that was a big mistake. Even here in Portlan...Read Mored, OR, where brutal sun is very very rare, all of the flowers fell off and the leaves dried out. I think I'll give this one a second chance, though, because the hummingbirds went absolutely crazy about it!!
Very similar to the Pineapple sage but with a distinctly orange/tangerine scent.
Likes a well drained soil in sun to light...Read More shade, it seems to dislike full sun in the hottest parts of the year. Dislikes drying out over winter even in cold regions so needs some watering but not as much as during the warmer months. It won't stand frost so requires frost protection during winter.
