This is supposedly the same species and subspecies as a plant that looks, to me at least, very different, so I have described it as Giant...Read More Form. It is similarly pointed and tends to from stacks of pointed columns, but is 4-5x larger in leaf (rosettes about 2.5" in diameter, as opposed to abotu 1/2" for the 'normal' form) size, rubbery, and somewhat more randomly oriented. It is also a slower growing plant, less invasive, and can change color depending on the temperature and water availability. I have not seen the other form of this plant vary like this.
