Once established, it has proved to be fairly drought tolerant. No problems with pests or diseases. Just give it enough room to breathe. Slow grower. I recommend it highly.

lost this plant this winter maybe because it sat under snow for over a week...going to try this plant again though in a different location soon. Have only had limited availibility.
