Today I visited Caldwell Nursery, Rosenberg TX, and was stunned to see a potted plant with foliage that was close to 3 ft tall. I never expected it to be taller than 18" but have learned that with frequent transplants to bigger sized pots, the plant's potential is 5 ft tall. The plant forms a clump rather quickly. so frequent division will also help it achieve its full size potential. I have seen plants with slight variegation, some foliage with ridges as well as the solid green. But all of them have the characteristic wide foliage. This is a very nice plant to have.
