I managed to save a grown plant and a few leaves from near-death, as well; this plant can take a beating from birds and seems to be more frost-tolerant than the information says. It was shielded from the wind and most of the leaves were insulated under some oak leaves, but it still got down to about -7°C/20°F for a few days before I brought the dropped leaves in. Three of six leaves are currently rooting quite nicely. I'm looking forward to them really taking off. :)
