We had it growing over our whole back area of our porch, it grew through the lattice work and we would just patch in areas and it was eventually part of the lattice and was beautiful and looked great, everyone loved it but they did not have to get on the roof and cut it back or pull the new seedlings, and sweeping up the blooms! It added great shade too, so there is good and bad, that equal it out. I want to add Madame Rosy Trumpet Vine but not near my back porch! Madame Rosy does not have seeds, it is a hybrid, I have read hybrid plants don't the same nutrition for hummingbirds, does anyone know about this one?

We keep pulling these offshoots out but its like pruning - they seem to flourish. I am afraid to use a herbicide in case I kill other things.
As I am fond of the flowers of the Campsis if it can be contained- can anyone tell me if the Madame Galen is similarly invasive. thanks
