Update 2016: Grew very slowly as my clone has much white throughout the plant. As of today,March 27th,dug up and placed in a black pot. I will guess that the larger plants you see are in climates that have very warm summers. In the SF bay area,the variegated can not get the hot filtered light it probably does best in. Still,a great potted plant and hardy.

I have not personally seen this form of aloe flower so no idea what color they are... assume they are red if this form flowers.
