Plant is easy to grow, very cold hardy. And seeds germinate easily about 4-5 months. Plants growth very slow though. Plants not doing ...Read Morewell when winter is dry. I lost few plants this way.

Takes several years to settle in and start blooming, but worth the wait. White cultivar also known as 'Albiflorus'.

I restart from seed that I fall sow, a...Read Morend it takes 3 years to start flowering from seed, then lasted 2 more years. I have had no problem getting a large healthy plant from seed, however growth is slow in the first 2 years. It seems like the two times that it winter killed were the years it had heavy seed set and I did not dead head. Maybe this should be a lesson learned?
