The fruits are edible while the leaves have hooked trichomes which makes them adhere to clothes similar to velcro. Larval food plant for the butterfly Heliconius charithonia."
Insteresting that the prior comment states that the fruit is extremely poisonous and this site states that it is edible. I would recommend more research before eating the fruit.
